Reporting to the ATI Coordinator, you will contribute to sector compliance with the legislated and policy requirements of the Access to Information (ATI) Act. As a Senior Access to Information Advisor, you will respond to and/or provide analysis, advice, and recommendations on access to information requests andconsultations in accordance with the ATI Act and other relevant legislation.
Other key responsibilities for the role include:
Processes access to general information requests, responds to consultations from all levels of governments subject to access legislation, under the ATI Act.Assists the ATI Coordinator in the liaison and negotiation with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) in response to reviews, investigations, and inquiries.Develops and supports the delivery of training sessions; other resources and communication materials to promote awareness and understanding of the ATI Act.Other related duties as assigned.
