This full-time, permanent position focuses on shaping policies to reflect stakeholder perspectives while meeting Alberta's resource management objectives. You will engage with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, providing strategic analysis and recommendations to senior leadership. Your expertise will foster strong partnerships and articulate complex policy directions through research and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead policy and program development aligned with Alberta's resource goals
• Conduct strategic analysis and provide evidence-based advice
• Coordinate community engagement activities for inclusive policy development
• Manage and prepare reports, analyzing project options
• Build relationships with stakeholders to influence policy outcomes
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant fields with 4 years' experience
• Experience engaging with Indigenous/non-Indigenous communities
• Knowledge of energy and natural resource policies
• Strong skills in policy research and analysis
• Positive communication and relationship-building abilities
