The Ministry of Children and Family Services seeks a dedicated Research and Policy Coordinator for its Youth and Preventive Family Services division. This temporary role is ideal for strategic thinkers possessing strong research capabilities, aimed at improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families in Alberta. Candidates will be actively engaged in policy recommendations, program coordination, and comprehensive data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support coordination of complex grant programs
• Conduct literature reviews on family and sexual violence
• Draft briefing notes and policy recommendations
• Engage stakeholders with clear, effective communication
• Analyze data to monitor program performance
Requirements:
• University degree in social sciences or related field
• Knowledge of research methodologies and evaluation frameworks
• Experience in data management and project coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Previous stakeholder management experience
