ABCRC Stakeholder Relations Director

Position: ABCRC Stakeholder Relations Director Role
Become ABCRC's Stakeholder Relations Director, leading strategies in public affairs and government relations while influencing environmental policies in Alberta. This role calls for a talented leader in stakeholder engagement.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations, your main responsibilities will include developing advocacy strategies, managing critical government relationships, and advising leadership on complex public affairs. Successful candidates will have extensive experience in public policy and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the development of government relations strategies

• Oversee stakeholder relationships and engagement initiatives

• Analyze legislative impacts on ABCRC and the recycling system

• Communicate effectively with leadership, preparing briefs and reports

• Represent ABCRC at industry events and consultations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Political Science, or similar

• At least 7-10 years of experience in stakeholder relations

• Background in government or political environments is an asset

• Exceptional communication and analytical skills

• Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism

Lead ABCRC's public affairs efforts, ensuring strategic alignment while enhancing stakeholder connections and environmental advocacy.
