Position: Temporary Regulatory Excellence Officer Role
Join Service Alberta as a Regulatory Excellence Officer, spearheading efforts in Edmonton to reduce regulatory burdens. This full-time, one-year position focuses on analytical evaluation and policy support.

In this role, you'll assist in achieving strategic objectives related to the Red Tape Reduction mandate by engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will require excellent judgment and proactive project management as you implement and track various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft correspondence and briefing notes for multiple audiences

• Track and measure government regulatory initiatives

• Assist in creating tools to minimize compliance costs

• Support planning for RTR legislation initiatives

• Engage stakeholders through industry round tables

Requirements:

• Degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or Economics

• Related research or program management experience

• Strong proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Contribute to improving regulatory practices and enhancing service delivery in Alberta.
