Water Availability Executive Director

Position: Water Availability Executive Director Role
Take the lead as the Executive Director of Water Availability and Partnerships in Edmonton. Champion policy innovation and community engagement for sustainable water resources in Alberta.

In this full-time role under the guidance of the ADM, you will direct the development of policies concerning both surface and groundwater availability. Your experience in managing public administration will guide you in fostering effective partnerships while addressing complex water-related issues. Effective outreach through schools and community programs will enhance public understanding of water management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish policies for groundwater and surface water initiatives

• Drive environmental education through outreach programs

• Oversee provincial partnerships and water well licensing

• Strengthen relationships with government and industry stakeholders

• Navigate complex regulatory challenges adeptly

Requirements:

• Senior management experience in a large organization

• Proven track record in policy formulation and issue management

• Strong critical thinking and collaboration skills

• Ability to articulate vision and foster stakeholder relationships

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field
