The Town of Stony Plain is seeking a dedicated Information Management and Privacy Coordinator. This permanent position involves leading corporate records initiatives and managing privacy practices. You will report to the Manager of Legislative Services, ensuring compliance with key legislation and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement information management programs
• Maintain the Town's privacy management framework
• Provide training on best practices to employees
• Support Access to Information Act administration
• Collaborate across departments for legislative compliance
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of ATIA and POPA legislation
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical information handling
