Strategic Issues Advisor Position

As a Strategic Issues Advisor, your focus will be on identifying and managing complex issues for the ministry. This position requires two years of related experience and a post-secondary education. You will track action requests and ensure the timely preparation of materials for senior leaders, enhancing the ministry's efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Action Requests and ministerial correspondence through ARTS

• Draft and review briefing notes for clarity and alignment

• Identify information gaps and collaborate with programs

• Manage priority items to ensure timely responses

• Foster relationships across branches to support strategic alignment

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree coupled with 2 years of experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ARTS

• Strong technical writing and editing skills

• Experience with executive-level communication

• Knowledge of Government of Alberta policies
