You will implement and enhance wildfire mitigation strategies, aligning with Fire Smart principles and community partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead implementation of wildfire mitigation programs
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices
• Engage stakeholders in mitigation awareness activities
• Coordinate funding programs for risk reduction projects
• Represent the Forestry Division on key committees
Requirements:
• University degree in forestry or environmental science
• 6+ years of relevant experience in land-use planning
• Experience working with Indigenous communities
• Knowledge of Fire Smart principles
• Understanding of environmental legislation
