Position: Planner I Subdivision Planning Opportunity

This position operates within the Planning & Development Services department, directly reporting to the Manager and Senior Planner. You'll be responsible for managing and reviewing subdivision planning projects, engaging in advocacy for planning policies, and contributing to innovative developmental strategies, enhancing your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide recommendations on subdivision planning

• Lead and review applications for development and agreements

• Represent the County on various planning committees

• Provide technical advice and promote program improvement

• Advance non-statutory plans and studies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or closely related field

• Understanding of Alberta's municipal planning context

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and design software

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory criminal background check

• Eligible to work in Canada
