Join Catholic Social Services as a Community Companion Volunteer in Edmonton. Provide support and companionship to a female individual living with disabilities by sharing enjoyable activities.
Ideal candidates are over 18 and able to volunteer 1-2 hours on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons or evenings. Engage in impactful experiences such as movies, crafts, and walks, while fostering meaningful social connections. Key Responsibilities:
• Create respectful and supportive relationships
• Meet clients in the community or group home
• Encourage participation in exciting community activities
Requirements:
• Age requirement: 18 years or older
• Commitment of at least 6 months
• Availability on specified days is a must
• Good interpersonal skills are a plus
• Positive and patient demeanor
