Therapy Assistant Care Team

Assisted Living Alberta is searching for a Therapy Assistant to join its multidisciplinary team in the Edmonton area. In this role, you will facilitate rehabilitation services for clients of all ages, collaborating with audiologists, physiotherapists, and more. Your responsibilities will include supporting treatment programs and conducting home visits to ensure the effectiveness of care provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with client evaluation and therapy equipment

• Develop and monitor personalized mobility and training plans

• Work directly with healthcare professionals in various settings

• Support clients through quality care in diverse environments

• Engage actively in program planning and improvements

Requirements:

• Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program

• BCLS certification for Healthcare Providers

• Experience working with diverse health conditions

• Understanding of Connect Care and palliative care

• Strong computer skills and effective communication abilities
