Location: Wetaskiwin
Provide essential therapy services as a Physiotherapist I focusing on home care clients in Wetaskiwin with Assisted Living Alberta. Your expertise will aid in restoring independence through collaborative rehabilitation.
This role involves thorough assessment and diagnosis of clients, working directly with families on personalized therapy goals. You will also participate in interprofessional teams to ensure the continuous improvement of care services within the home care framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen, assess, and diagnose home care clients
• Collaborate with families to create rehabilitation goals
• Provide education and consultations to clients and caregivers
• Contribute to mentoring and quality improvement initiatives
• Supervise Therapy Assistants and students during therapy
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
• Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Required BLS certification
• Deep commitment to enhancing patient care experiences
