Support AHS as a Patient Information Administrative Support III, collecting vital demographic and financial data from patients and ensuring their safety in a dynamic healthcare environment.
This crucial role involves obtaining and entering accurate patient information while promoting a high standard of care. You will verify healthcare eligibility, prepare identification materials, and strictly adhere to privacy policies.
The right candidate will excel in communication and customer service, while effectively navigating a fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain and record patient demographic and financial data
• Verify patient healthcare eligibility during registration
• Prepare labels and wristbands with care
• Apply best practices per Provincial Registration Standards
• Ensure compliance with information privacy policies
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Medical terminology certification prior to interview
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute
• Strong computer proficiency and communication skills
• Ability to work all required shifts
