Position: Adjudicator at WCB Alberta
WCB Alberta is seeking an Adjudicator in Edmonton or Calgary to play a key role in client services. Use your problem-solving skills to help injured workers regain their lives and rights.

In this permanent and full-time position, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of claims while ensuring timely and fair entitlement decisions based on established policies. The role focuses on effective communication, critical thinking, and the ability to handle tough discussions empathetically. Your work will contribute to a safer, healthier Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make timely decisions on disability benefits claims

• Obtain medical opinions and coordinate necessary treatments

• Assess compensation rates based on individual cases

• Communicate updates and decisions clearly with clients

• Uphold the principles of the Workers’ Compensation Act

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma required

• Experience in claims and health management preferred

• Critical thinking and time management skills essential

• Ability to establish relationships and resolve conflicts

• Proficiency in communication, both verbal and written
