As a Health Care Aide at Age Care, you will deliver essential care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Your role includes assisting residents with daily living activities and monitoring health status, ensuring they receive quality and personalized support. By contributing to the Nursing Care Plan, you will help address each resident's holistic needs and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive personal and health care services
• Monitor residents and report any health status changes
• Promote mobility and participate in community activities
• Collaborate on individual Nursing Care Plans
• Ensure a safe environment by reporting hazardous activities
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program
• Experience working with seniors in health care settings
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification preferred
• Ability to complete a current Vulnerable Sector Check
