Position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Role
Join Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the  school year in Whitecourt, Edson, and Slave Lake. Deliver individualized services to enhance learning engagement.

The role focuses on providing customized support based on a strength-based model across multiple schools. You'll work under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist, collaborating with the inclusive education team while promoting literacy and numeracy. This position requires a commitment to supporting students and reducing barriers to their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized support and services at eight schools

• Collaborate effectively with the inclusive education team

• Enhance student participation in literacy and numeracy

• Follow directives from the Speech Language Pathologist

• Travel between Whitecourt, Edson, and Slave Lake regularly

Requirements:

• Valid criminal record/vulnerable sector check

• Experience with youth and school-aged children

• Strong collaborative and independent work skills

• Coursework in child development background

• Therapy Assistant program completion preferred
