As a Health Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring clients' comfort and safety across various health contexts. You will be directly supervised by a nursing team member, aligning your work with care plans and providing vital assistance with daily activities. You'll be responsible for monitoring clients' health statuses and responding to behavioral changes promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personal care to clients following care plans
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status
• Support clients' emotional and physical well-being
• Engage in continuous improvement and self-reflection
• Demonstrate flexibility in meeting client needs
Requirements:
• Valid practice permit with College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Active Registration with Health Care Aid Directory
• Preferred two years of acute care experience
• Commitment to professionalism and accountability
