Bethesda Community Services is seeking committed individuals to support adults with developmental disabilities. The role of the Developmental Support Worker is to assist individuals with social skills, behavioural supports, adaptive functioning and personal care.
Bethesda is a 24/7 facility and requires full availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, overnights, weekends, statutory holidays and call-ins.
Responsibilities- Assist individuals with social skills, behavioural supports, adaptive functioning and personal care.
- Experience and education in supporting people with developmental disabilities
- Experience supporting people with behavior challenges
- Experience supporting people who are medically fragile
- Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Exposure or experience with data collection and report writing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong decision making and prioritizing skills
- Passion and dedication in their work
- Minimum of three (3) years driving experience
