Position: Wetaskiwin Hospital Pharmacist I Role
Become a Pharmacist I at Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre, dedicated to patient medication management within an interdisciplinary team. This role emphasizes the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services.

As a vital member of the pharmacy department, you will work on medication therapy management and assist in resolving drug-related problems. This position supports a busy Acute Care and Continuing Care environment, ensuring the delivery of quality medication services across patient groups. Your involvement with a team of Pharmacy Technicians will help optimize care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective pharmaceutical services

• Assess patients’ medication therapies thoroughly

• Manage drug-related problem resolutions actively

• Supervise compounding and medication packaging

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements:

• Completed Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

• Active registration with Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)

• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred

• Familiarity with computerized medication systems required

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
