Position: Part-Time Pharmacist at North Central Co-op

Join North Central Co-op as a Part-Time Pharmacist at our Riverside Pharmacy in St. Albert, AB. Provide patient-focused care, professional advice, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

This part-time pharmacist role requires availability Monday to Friday and weekends. You will ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, deliver expert advice on medications, and assist with patient care. Work closely with Pharmacy Technicians and manage inventory effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered services and professional medication advice

• Uphold legal and ethical pharmacy practices and standards

• Oversee Pharmacy Technicians in patient assistance and counseling

• Manage inventory and order pharmaceutical products

• Handle procurement and disbursement of narcotics and controlled substances

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy

• Retail pharmacy experience and valid pharmacy license in Alberta

• Additional Prescribing Authority and diabetes educator certificate preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Committed to building relationships and delivering effective solutions
