Make a difference with Sienna as a Health Care Aide at Shasta Care Community in Edmonton. Provide compassionate care by supporting residents in their daily routines.
This permanent part-time position involves 30 hours bi-weekly, where your interactions shape the lives of seniors. You will provide vital assistance with daily activities while offering emotional, cognitive, and spiritual support to residents. Become an integral part of a dedicated team fostering comfort and dignity in an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and assist residents with grooming and hygiene
• Facilitate communication through appropriate sensory aids
• Administer medications under guidance of health professionals
• Maintain accessibility to mobility devices for residents
• Support engagement in programs offered by the Resident Experience Team
Requirements:
• Successful completion of a Health Care Aide program
• Strong compassion for senior care and support
• Ability to execute care procedures with attention to detail
• Tactful in interactions with seniors and families
• Must have legal work eligibility in Canada
