Location: Wetaskiwin
Engage with customers and healthcare providers as a Pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart. Deliver professional services and manage pharmacy operations effectively while on duty.
In this role, you'll be responsible for counseling customers regarding prescriptions and health products while ensuring adherence to legal and ethical pharmacy practices. Your leadership will help maintain efficient workflows in the pharmacy and ensure customer confidentiality and satisfaction. You will also oversee inventory management and make informed decisions about medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consultations on prescriptions and health products
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and standards
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with policies
• Review inventory for expired medications and stock levels
• File incident reports as necessary
Requirements:
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Previous pharmacy experience and knowledge of systems
• Proficiency in Health & Safety protocols
• Participation in training and continuing education
