Location: Beaumont
Become a Mental Health Counselor with The Wood Group, providing part-time care on weekends. Support individuals through compassionate guidance as they navigate their mental health journeys.
This role is for a dedicated professional who will engage with clients requiring mental health support. Responsibilities include offering psychosocial programming, conducting individual and group sessions, and maintaining comprehensive client records. Your commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality will be essential in creating a safe environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on resident issues with the Administrator
• Deliver 16 daily units of psychosocial programming
• Schedule and document individual and group therapy sessions
• Maintain client records according to legal standards
• Ensure safety and dignity for all clients
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling or Psychology
• Valid Texas Driver's license
• Experience in mental health counseling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ethical client care
