Join Emergency Health Services as an Advanced Care Paramedic in Edmonton. This exciting role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care while operating under demanding conditions on the front lines.
As a front-line healthcare provider, you will assess emergency scenes and deliver critical patient transport services. Your expertise in advanced life support will be essential, alongside managing ambulances and ensuring operational readiness. Working across varied shift patterns, this role demands a strong physical capability to handle the challenges of emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency care and patient assessment
• Manage patient transport and medication administration
• Ensure ambulances are stocked and compliant with standards
• Lead ALS team efforts during emergencies
• Handle physical rigors of the paramedic role
Requirements:
• Non-restricted ACP registration with ACOP
• Current BCLS CPR certification
• Eligibility for Class 4 Alberta Operator's License
• Completion of the F.A.R.E. test within 6 months
• Capability to meet operational duties from day one
