Wildfire Advanced Care Paramedic

Become a crucial part of our response team at DXP | IPS this wildfire season as an Advanced Care Paramedic in Edmonton. Provide advanced life support and ensure patient safety on-site in urgent situations.

As a skilled Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), you will respond promptly to emergencies, offering immediate care and arranging transport when necessary.

This role offers both long-term and short-term project opportunities with a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation, accommodating flexibility in shifts and hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver immediate Advanced Life Support medical care

• Comply with IPS Medical Control Guidelines and safety policies

• Act to ensure patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality

• Provide professional on-site medical care for injured workers

• Report hazardous conditions to supervision without delay

Requirements:

• Alberta College of Paramedics registration (unrestricted)

• Valid class 4 driver’s license with a clean abstract

• H2S & CSO certification

• Previous Paramedic experience required

• Industrial experience is an asset
