The EMG Technologist (Electroneurophysiology Technologist I) plays a vital role in the Ambulatory Care Neurosciences Department. This position requires performing clinical neurophysiology tests, assisting in patient preparation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential for effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform standard neurophysiology tests efficiently
• Conduct EMG Studies and Nerve Conduction Studies
• Prepare patients for procedures and address concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure best practices
• Provide cross-coverage as needed across sites
Requirements:
• Registration with Board of Registration of EMG Technologists
• At least one year of relevant experience required
• Excellent assessment and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Physical capacity for lifting and patient care tasks
