Position: AgeCare PSW Coordinator Role
Take on an essential role as a PSW Coordinator at Age Care, dedicated to enhancing the quality of personal care services for residents. Be a key player in our mission to provide person-centered care.

As the PSW Coordinator, you'll report to the Director of Care and oversee the operations of the Personal Support Workers team. You'll participate in hiring, onboarding, and coaching new employees while ensuring compliance through regular audits and supervision of care. Your efforts will greatly impact the well-being of residents and the overall quality of care provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Care for operational management

• Participate in PSW hiring and orientation processes

• Perform auditing and supervision of resident care

• Monitor and distribute essential nursing supplies

• Promote mentorship and best practices among PSWs

Requirements:

• Completion of PSW Certificate/Diploma Program

• Prior experience as a PSW in long-term care settings

• Familiarity with care techniques and sanitation

• BSO certification is considered beneficial

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
