As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing trauma-focused mental health services to children and families. Collaborate closely with CASA’s skilled team to create personalized treatment plans and conduct essential assessments. This temporary, 18-month position, offers full-time hours from Monday to Friday to effectively serve the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, trauma-focused therapy to children and families
• Conduct mental health assessments and formulate treatment plans
• Assist caregivers in developing specialized parenting skills
• Manage cases, facilitating communication between therapists and community services
• Supervise student placements and contribute to team knowledge
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field
• Active registration with appropriate professional college
• Minimum two years of clinical practice experience
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Ability to pass criminal background checks
Support children’s mental health and wellbeing at CASA in Stony Plain.
