As a key part of our Northeastern Ontario team, the Supervised Instructor Therapist contributes to a family-centered approach within the Ontario Autism Program. Your qualifications in Autism and Behavioural Science, along with your hands-on experience, will empower you to deliver compassionate care. The role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills, essential for engaging with both children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver ABA interventions according to Behaviour Plans
• Engage with families and support their needs
• Document child progress and adjust strategies accordingly
• Work flexibly and travel across the District of Algoma
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
• Diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science or related degrees
• At least two years as a Supervised Instructor Therapist
• Excellent communication skills in English and French an asset
• Valid Class G driver’s license and transportation
• Full COVID-19 vaccination proof required
