This full-time position involves rotating shifts across seven designated clinics in Edmonton and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include managing radiopharmaceuticals, preparing patient doses, and conducting various Nuclear Medicine scans. This role emphasizes patient comfort, collaboration with physicians, and a commitment to professional growth within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality control on radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment
• Manage daily isotope and supply orders effectively
• Prepare and administer doses, including IV setups and ECG leads
• Conduct patient interviews and supervise cardiac stress test recovery
• Assist in various Nuclear Medicine scans and procedures
Requirements:
• Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods
• Current CPR certification required
• Comprehensive knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Understanding of exam storage and retrieval systems
• Commitment to patient care and quality control standards
