In this Dietitian I position, you will provide essential nutrition services to patients and clients at various AHS facilities, aiming to achieve optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities include nutrition assessments, creating comprehensive care plans, and delivering educational programs promoting healthy lifestyles. You’ll have the chance to share your knowledge with students and healthcare professionals, ensuring evidence-based nutrition information is readily available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutrition assessments for patients in hemodialysis

• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans

• Provide public health nutrition services and education programs

• Educate students and healthcare staff on nutrition best practices

• Evaluate and promote healthy living and disease prevention

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Foods and Nutrition required

• Completion of an accredited internship program

• Active registration with College of Dietitians of Alberta

• Preferred renal experience in nutrition

• Clear criminal record as per AHS policy
