Paramedic: Front-Line Healthcare

Serve on the front lines as a Primary Care Paramedic with Emergency Health Services in Edmonton. This position requires versatility and readiness to handle various emergency scenarios.

In the role of Primary Care Paramedic, you will assess patients in critical situations and provide necessary treatments, ensuring safe transportation to medical facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients at emergency scenes

• Operate and drive ambulances effectively

• Administer BLS care and medications as required

• Lead teams in delivering surgical care during transport

• Stock and maintain ambulances to health standards

Requirements:

• Registration and credentials with Alberta College of Paramedics

• Current BCLS CPR certification necessary

• Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence or equivalent experience

• Completion of FARE test within six months of application

• Physical fitness to meet paramedic service demands
