Paramedic Role in Northeast Alberta

Location: St. Albert

Medavie Health Services is hiring a dedicated Paramedic for temporary work in Northeast Alberta. Focus on patient safety and high standards of care while working within a supportive team environment.

As a Paramedic, you’ll ensure the readiness of vehicles and perform critical patient assessments in various situations. Collaboration with outside agencies and adherence to professional guidelines are crucial in this role. Your expertise and compassion will significantly contribute to the community’s health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain operational vehicle standards at all times

• Document patient interactions clearly and timely

• Work closely with team members for patient coordination

• Participate in educational and quality assurance programs

• Uphold patient confidentiality at all levels

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• Alberta Operators License class 1, 2 or 4

• Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics

• Required CPR and FARE Certifications

• Must be in good physical health
