Carefor, a leader in home and community care in Eastern Ontario, is seeking a Personal Support Worker to aid individuals and families in their homes. This role involves assisting with personal care and daily living activities, promoting clients' independence and overall well-being. You will work collaboratively with a team geared towards providing high-quality support services tailored to clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in daily tasks such as dressing and grooming
• Offer light housekeeping and meal preparation support
• Provide respite care and companionship
• Record observations and changes in client routines
• Carry out other duties adhering to care policies
Requirements:
• Ontario Certified Personal Support Worker or similar qualification
• Up-to-date vaccinations and a clear Vulnerable Sector check
• Experience in Palliative Care is beneficial
• First Aid CPR certification preferred
• Vehicle necessary for transportation to clients
