Clinical Counsellor

Position: Full-Time Clinical Counsellor
Join The Mustard Seed's team in Edmonton as a Clinical Counsellor. Focus on client-centred care for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.

As a Clinical Counsellor, you will provide comprehensive counselling services at The Mustard Seed, helping clients navigate their recovery journeys. This role focuses on supporting clients at The Mustard Seed's housing sites and other clients experiencing mental health issues, utilizing tailored, evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Join a supportive team where your input enhances client outcomes and fosters community collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment and wellness plans

• Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing monitoring

• Document client progress and maintain confidentiality

• Coordinate consultations with community partners

• Mentor practicum students in clinical skills

Requirements:

• Master’s in counseling psychology or social work

• Active registration or eligibility with CAP or ACSW

• Experience with mental illness and substance abuse

• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
