Location: Wetaskiwin

Join Assisted Living Alberta as a Health Care Aide (HCA) in Wetaskiwin Hospital & Care Center. Provide essential support and personal assistance to patients in daily living activities.

In this part-time role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while assisting with patient hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety needs. Your contributions support organized activities and ensure a safe environment for patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be monitored by a regulated health professional and engage in effective communication across various care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support activities of daily living for clients and residents

• Assist nurses with routine patient care tasks

• Observe and report on patients' health and wellbeing

• Maintain safety for patients, staff, and visitors

• Ensure effective communication with families and caregivers

Requirements:

• Active or eligible for registration with CLHA

• Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months

• Proven personal care skills and teamwork orientation

• Flexible availability for day and weekend shifts

• Commitment to ongoing training and safety protocols
