Position: Therapeutic Role of Physiotherapist I
Become a Physiotherapist I at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, specializing in acute rehabilitation for patients following surgery and trauma. This full-time temporary role offers impactful opportunities in a vibrant healthcare environment.

In this position within the Inpatient Acute Care team, you will assess and address complex physical and cognitive needs, creating tailored rehabilitation strategies for your patients. Collaboration across multiple disciplines is essential, facilitating an integrated model of care that supports both patients and their families. You'll also engage in mentorship and quality initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement in rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients post-illness or surgery

• Develop individualized rehabilitation strategies

• Provide education and support for patients and families

• Participate in patient rounds with multidisciplinary teams

• Oversee therapy assistants and students' learning

Requirements:

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy

• Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications

• Experience with diverse client populations preferred
