Location: High Prairie
Enhance student health as a Wellness Coach with High Prairie School Division in north-central Alberta. Promote wellness strategies and provide tailored support for student success throughout the division.
High Prairie School Division invites applicants for a Wellness Coach position, ideal for candidates excited about fostering a culture of well-being. This role requires a post-secondary diploma and aims to implement programs that support overall health and wellness for students from kindergarten to Grade 12. You'll collaborate with the HPSD student services team and offer both individual and group sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of Healthy School Communities
• Promote health and wellness initiatives among students
• Assist with health-related goal setting and tracking
• Provide individual and group support sessions
• Collaborate with student services for enhanced support
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in a related field
• Preferred degree in Psychology or Social Work
• 1-3 years’ relevant experience
• Valid Driver’s License for travel purposes
• Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
