As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will play a key role in enhancing patient outcomes at three distinguished hospitals:
University of Alberta Hospital, Royal Alexandra Hospital, and Sturgeon Community Hospital. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Collaboration with clinical teams is essential to ensure comprehensive care and effective training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and implement respiratory therapy care plans

• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed

• Collaborate with clinical teams for improved outcomes

• Educate families about respiratory conditions and treatments

• Operate diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory equipment

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta

• Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy

• Pass the National Respiratory Certification Exam

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Membership in the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists
