In this full-time position within the Medicine Program, you will offer personal assistance to patients in both acute and chronic care settings.
Your role will involve supporting daily living activities, assisting nursing staff, and engaging with families and caregivers to ensure holistic patient care. As a critical part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help maintain high standards of safety and wellbeing for all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility needs
• Support organized activities and programs for patients
• Observe and report on patients' health and mood
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for effective care
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment
Requirements:
• Active or eligible Health Care Aide registration
• BLS-HCP certification required
• Physically able to meet the job demands
• One year acute care experience preferred
• Knowledge of Connect Care preferred
