As a Health Care Aide, your primary focus will be on delivering individualized care aligned with each resident’s preferences. Establishing and maintaining respectful, therapeutic relationships is key, alongside advocating for their autonomy in care decisions. You will assess needs, provide personal care, and document important observations while ensuring safety standards are met consistently throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents with daily living tasks

• Maintain confidentiality of residents' personal information

• Facilitate resident involvement in care decision-making

• Monitor health status and report changes

• Conduct clerical duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized HCA program

• Registration with the Alberta health authority required

• Recent clear Criminal Record Check needed

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written

• Capable of performing physical nursing tasks frequently
