Evening Health Care Aide Cogir

Support seniors' independence as a Health Care Aide with Cogir Senior Living in the evenings. This part time role focuses on direct personal care and resident engagement.

Cogir Senior Living is looking for dedicated Health Care Aides to assist in their retirement residences. Working from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, you will implement care plans, help with daily hygiene, and provide social support.

Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the lives of residents while working closely with health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow care plans as directed by supervisors

• Document and report changes in residents’ health

• Assist with resident mobility and transfers

• Ensure a clean and safe living environment

• Engage residents in cognitive and social activities

Requirements:

• Health Care Aide program graduate or provincial equivalent

• Relevant experience in senior care settings

• Strong skills in communication and organization

• Basic life support knowledge recommended

• Current or ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
