As a crucial member of the pharmacy team, your responsibilities will involve processing patient prescriptions and maintaining accurate records. You’ll be responsible for evaluating and inputting data related to prescriptions into the pharmacy's system, alongside completing essential documentation. You will help ensure a well-organized workspace and manage inventory effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure correct procedures for patient records
• Aid the Pharmacist with prescription preparation
• Input prescription legality and patient information accurately
• Complete important documentation and reporting tasks
• Assist in managing inventory effectively
Requirements:
• Pharmacy Technician Diploma or equivalent program
• Completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam
• Good standing membership with the provincial College
• 1 year continuous pharmacy experience required
• Proficient in relevant computer software systems
