Become a Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Educator at WELL Health Diagnostic Centres in Edmonton, Alberta. This on-site Full-Time role offers the chance to shape patient diabetes management and education.
As an essential part of our team, you will facilitate diabetes education, assess patient knowledge, and develop personalized care plans. Applying behaviour change techniques, you will support patients in overcoming challenges while collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate diabetes education classes and one-on-one sessions
• Assess patient understanding and customize education plans
• Instruct on insulin administration and glucose monitoring
• Collaborate on diabetes care management with the team
• Utilize advanced technology for patient support
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or equivalent
• Active RD or RN license in Alberta
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated initiative and independent working ability
• Commitment to continuous learning in dietetics
