Become a Health Care Aide at Age Care, joining a dedicated team to provide essential resident care. This role focuses on personal assistance, daily activities, and a supportive community environment.
At Age Care, we seek an experienced Health Care Aide to work alongside our Staff Nurse in delivering personalized care services. You'll collaborate with the care team to promote resident well-being through essential tasks such as bathing, feeding, and assisting with mobility. This role requires knowledge of care practices and a commitment to improving residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bathe and wash residents according to care plans
• Assist residents with transfers using safety equipment
• Support residents during mealtime and snack times
• Administer routine treatments as directed by nurses
• Help residents navigate the facility for activities
Requirements:
• One year of experience in related care environment
• Completion of recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate
• Active registration with the CLHA
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Commitment to compassionate care
