Join the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist I. Deliver vital respiratory care, implement therapy plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will plan and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Your role involves educating patients on their conditions and providing technical support for respiratory equipment. You will work in diverse clinical settings such as the Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit, contributing to quality monitoring and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients and develop respiratory therapy care plans
• Implement and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care
• Provide training on equipment use to healthcare providers
• Participate in quality monitoring activities
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta
• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• One year clinical experience in acute care
• Current CPR certification required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
