Hybrid Occupational Therapist II FAST

Be a pivotal member of Edmonton FAST as an Occupational Therapist II, specializing in hand and wrist conditions. Embrace a hybrid working model while enhancing access to surgical treatment pathways.

This role requires you to provide advanced clinical triage and supervision within the Provincial Facilitated Access Program. You will utilize your expertise in assessment and rehabilitation to make informed decisions on care pathways and contribute to program development and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate referral assessments and clinical decisions

• Collaborate with nurses and specialists in patient care

• Oversee service area operations and workflow

• Conduct chart audits and feedback sessions

• Lead educational initiatives for staff and students

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent

• Active Alberta College of Occupational Therapists registration

• At least 5 years of clinical experience

• Knowledge of surgical referral pathways

• Proven problem-solving and methodical skills
