Support senior residents as a Part-Time Health Care Aide with Cogir Senior Living in St. Albert, Alberta. This casual role focuses on providing personal care and life-enhancing support.
Cogir Senior Living is hiring a dedicated Health Care Aide for its facility at River Ridge.
Your role will be to assist seniors with personal care, daily living activities, and mobility while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will be instrumental in creating an engaging and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement care plans developed by supervisors
• Assist residents with hygiene and personal care tasks
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional health
• Facilitate movement and support with adaptive aids
• Maintain confidentiality and advocate for residents' needs
Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized Health Care Aide program
• Prior experience in community health services
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification recommended
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check required
