Dedicated Health Care Aide in Seniors Care

Make a difference as a Health Care Aide at Optima Living, where you’ll provide compassionate care and support to enhance residents' quality of life. Focus on dignity and holistic care every day.

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will assist seniors with daily living and mobility needs, fulfilling both their physical and emotional requirements. You'll collaborate with a kind-hearted care team, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety and personal dignity. This role requires someone who is patient, observant, and skilled in communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help residents with bathing, grooming, and mobility

• Ensure documentation of resident care plans

• Promptly respond to residents' daily needs and concerns

• Facilitate participation in social and recreational activities

• Monitor residents’ nutrition and hydration

Requirements:

• Completed Health Care Aide program and CLHA registration

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Prior caregiving experience in a residential setting

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to handle flexible shifts and emergencies
